Chris Brown charged with two felonies

Chris Brown has been charged with two felony charges following his bust-up with Rihanna last month. The Kiss Kiss singer has been charged with assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats. He is currently out on a $50,000 bail after being granted a continuance at his arraignment hearing on Thursday and is due back in court next month.

R&B Singer, Rihanna has released a statement thanking fans for their support in the wake of Chris Brown’s arrest for allegedly assaulting her. Days after a picture of Rihanna beaten and bruised was leaked on the internet, Rihanna released the following statement:
The statement reads, “At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

Reports claim Chris threatened to kill Rihanna

A source close to the investigation into Chris Brown’s assault arrest says that Rihanna has told police the R&B star tried to choke her.
The pair began fighting after leaving the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party (pictured above: Rihanna at the party) on Saturday when things blew up. The source told E! News that Chris pulled over his car and Rihanna threw the keys out the window. After searching in vain for the keys he returned to the car put his hands around her neck and said, “I’m going to kill you.” Rihanna told police she lost consciousness at that point.

Rihanna and Chris Brown drop out of Grammys amidst controversy

Gossip is circling regarding Chris Brown and Rihanna’s last minute pull out of the Grammy Awards, amidst reports of a violent incident. The police are currently investigating Chris Brown for assault following an alleged domestic violence felony battery against a femal evictim.
According to the police, Chris and the woman were in a vehicle in LA, where the victim claims they argued. The woman is said to have suffered “visible injuries” and identified the R&B crooner as her attacker.
“Mr Brown is a suspect that we are looking for… we would definitely like to speak with him,” a spokesperson for the LAPD told Access Hollywood.
